Fathead Naan Bread Recipe

Easy Baked Keto Naan Bread – delicious buttery garlic naan that is perfect alongside butter chicken or other favorite Indian Food dishes!

This light, fluffy, and foldable keto naan is the perfect easy keto bread to use for flatbread recipes, wraps, served with soups, or even dip!

Easy keto naan relies on baking soda for lift, and a rich “flour” made from cheese, sour cream, egg, and almond flour – no special ingredients you’ll never use again.

You probably already have all the ingredients you need on hand for this baked naan recipe.

This keto naan bread is based off the wildly popular fatbread dough recipe – in this version it is a combination of sour cream, parmesan cheese, and almond flour.

This keto baked flatbread is so easy to make – simply melt the cheeses (either in the microwave or a double boiler), and combine with the eggs, almond flour, and baking powder, and knead!

As your naan bakes in the oven, you’ll make a delicious garlic butter sauce to brush over the naan for a rich, buttery flavor you can’t get enough of!

To Make this Keto Naan Bread, You’ll Need:

For the Naan:
-3 cups Mozzarella.
– 2 tbsp Full-fat Greek yogurt.
– 2 large Eggs.
– 1 1/2 cups Blanched almond flour.
– 1 tbsp Gluten-free baking powder.

For The Garlic Butter Topping:
– 2 tbsp Butter.
– 1/2 tsp Garlic powder.
– 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)

  1. I’m not sure that I’m not understanding?? The ingredients don’t seem to match the instructions below the list of ingredients.
Ie. The instructions says mix in the sour cream but I don’t see that in the ingredients. What am I missing? Thanks

    1. Sorry for the confusion, sour cream and plain whole fat yogurt are essentially the same thing but I updated the recipe card for more continuity!

  2. I hate all keto bread stuff and prefer lettuce wraps but just made this and it’s awesome! Just wondering if the carb count includes a carb free cheese?
    Thanks!

    1. So- the carb count is probably a little higher than you would get in using carb free cheese as well as regular cheese because it is auto-calculated by a software I use – so I’d double check it using the ingredients you use for a really exact number. I know the brands I use, it comes out a bit lower – but because calorie counts are so scientific, I suggest people to run their own calculations to make sure they work in your macros 😉

  3. This is the best keto naan I have found. I made it once but didn’t copy the recipe. Then when I went to make it again, I tried at least four others before finding this again. One was okay, and several were terrible. This is tasty and can serve as a sandwich bread or a pizza crust or any number of things. Thanks so much. I will make sure to keep this recipe this time!

  4. Thank you ? I have never made dough .Mine was sticky so I couldn’t roll over it. Came out delicious anyway
